Project Overview
The Integrated Introductory Life Science Education aims to expose students to the same concepts in different courses using different vocabularies. This promotes strong interdisciplinary thinking and drives a positive influence on student retention and activities.
Interdisciplinary Teaching
We bring together chemistry, physics, mathematics and biology, and correlate topics with one another. This I2LSE component is crucial in delivering classroom material that is a combination of a variety of academic topics, projects and important interdisciplinary relationships.
Equity and Inclusion
The project employs universal design for learning, while promoting active learning and other research-based pedagogies. We actively apply innovative technologies to solve pedagogical challenges.
